When choosing a forum name please be mindful of the community and refrain from using any names that contain profanity, sexual language/actions, and impersonating GAMEVIL employees. This includes abbreviations, slang, and other bypasses. Inappropriate forum names will result in the account banned from the forums.

We ask that all posts pertain to our games and posts referring to illegal activities (drugs, pirating, crimes), Sexual activities and Terms of Service abuse such as hacking, account trading, and account selling will be removed from the forums and the poster could face ban from the forums. This policy also includes inappropriate or profane language that could offend players who read them. Community Managers have a final say on what is deemed inappropriate and there will be no chance for appeals.

4. GAMEVIL encourages players to be active on the forums and feel safe while doing so. This means that spamming another player on their thread or creating a thread to denigrate another player will not be tolerated. Any player found spamming, harassing or flaming another player on the forums will have the posts removed and could face a ban from the forums.

5. We understand that players may have strong feelings toward a specific subject. However please refrain from creating multiple threads of the same topic or discussions to overwhelm the forums. Bumping (repeated posting on a thread to keep it going or visible) is also not allowed. Players found in violation of this will have the threads deleted and may be subject to forum ban.

    3. Party Formation
    1. Nightmare Exclusive Skills
    1. Challenge
    1. Rewards

The hardest dungeon, Nightmare, will be opening in "Honor Gorge".

    1. Nightmare Dungeon

There's a new area on the left side of the "Honor Gorge".

The new area is called the "Nightmare" dungeon.

Judging from how it looks, it already looks pretty exciting.

You must be at least level 102 to enter the "Nightmare" dungeon.

Only users who have reached the highest level can challenge this dungeon.

※ "Nightmare" dungeon's level requirement will change when the level cap of the game increases.

The dungeon is made of underground floors from 1 to 7 with the highest ranked users from the "Arena".

The placements of each floor change every week according to the "Arena" ranks (higher ranking = lower floors).

Depending on the player's growth, the difficulty will change accordingly.

※ The opponents that are placed on each floor will be removed when their battle skills fall short of the criteria.

There are 2 different modes in the "Nightmare" dungeon.

"Nightmare: Buster Mode" is made of ranked users from "Arena: Buster Mode".

Buster Grade (Dragon Buster, Dark Soul, Gigantes) keys may be used.

"Nightmare: Hero Mode" is made of ranked users from "Arena: Hero Mode".

Only the character and allies may be used in this mode.

Keys may be equipped in "Hero Mode" but the key will not be activated.

    2. Lobby

"Nightmare" dungeon is made of underground floors from 1 to 7.

On the left side of the lobby, you can see the ranked users' information who are placed on each floor.

However, no information will be shown for floors that you haven't challenged yet, so be prepared.

Check out to see who's on the final underground 7th floor.

On the right side, you can see your "Party Information" and "Nightmare Skills".

    3. Party Formation

You can challenge the dungeon with your character, 4 allies, and 1 helper.

You can change and select the party formation in the lobby.

Save and manage a separate party for the "Nightmare" dungeon in "Manage Party".

    4. Nightmare Exclusive Skills

To help you through the most difficult dungeon, you can use "Nightmare" exclusive skills.

You can only use 1 skill out of the 3 by purchasing it with Gold.

The skill can only be used once in each battle.

You can challenge the "Nightmare" dungeon as many times as you want.

However, the battle always starts from the 1st floor.

In order to conquer higher floors, you'll have to pick and use the right skills.

    5. Challenge

As mentioned above, no matter how far you've cleared the dungeon,

you will always start from the 1st floor.

When you enter the dungeon, the battle will proceed after the ranked user's name and ranking are shown.

If you win the battle, you can choose to continue to the next floor or to accept the reward.

When there's an attainable reward on the floor, it will ask whether you want to acquire it or not.

The challenge will end when you choose to accept the reward.

However, if you lose, the rewards that you've accumulated will be lost.

Once you challenge the dungeon again after acquiring the reward, you will start from the 1st floor.

If you've acquired the reward for a certain floor, you will not be asked if you want to acquire the reward or not.

If you have managed to accumulate the rewards, you will be shown the rewards that have been accumulated so far.

After the challenge is over, you can check what rewards you have obtained.

Also, you can tap the [Claim Reward] button to claim the reward from your mailbox.

The [Challenge Next Floor] system allows you to challenge the next floor without asking you.

    6. Rewards

There are rewards for each of the floors in the "Nightmare" dungeon.

Each of the rewards can only be obtained once for each season.

If you've already obtained the reward from a floor, there will be a check mark.

You can obtain the floor's reward again during the next season.

The "Nightmare" dungeon resets every Wednesday at 12 AM PST.

The new season starts 10 minutes later (12:10AM).

In the new season, ranked users will be placed in each floor according to the "Arena" ranking that is finalized on Tuesday, 1 AM.

However, if there are no users who have cleared the 7th floor, the rewards will reset but the placements will remain the same.

The "Nightmare" dungeon that opens on 2/1, will have its first placements based on the "Arena" ranks that are finalized by 1/31, Tuesday at 1 AM.

Challenge against the strongest ranked players and claim the ultimate rewards in the "Nightmare" dungeon!

When you obtain a reward from a floor can you still challenge the dungeon and go for a reward from a higher or a lower floor?

Looks like an easy system to exploit. Basically the highest ranking Buster and Hero Arena player just need to remove all allies and lock in Rank 1 by the end of the reward period to give the rest of the player base an easy time to get to Floor 7.

Unfortunately not, I believe they are changing it so arena teams are updated upon a WIN instead of just a BATTLE at the same time. This is from the KR patch notes so not 100% guaranteed but highly likely.
