    +Introduction+
    +=================================================================+

Zenonia is an RPG-based game developed by Gamevil INC. Zenonia is complete with three separate player classes, over 40 hours of gameplay and a sophisticated story line featuring both a good and evil point of view. Zenonia was made available to America through iTunes on 5/24/09 and is sold for $5.99 for both the iPhone and iTouch. This guide is designed to help the players who use the assassin class. I will give you reasons to play the assassin, way to make money, how to level and more. If you find any mistakes or need more help contact info at the bottom.

    +Assassin Basics+
    +=================================================================+

    **********************************************************************************************
    Starting Off (AE1)
    **********************************************************************************************
The assassin is a quick class. The assassin's attack speed is increased, so it hits twice as fast, its running speed is increased, so it move from place to place faster, and it is extremely fun to play. If you are new to Zenonia try the assassin and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Gameplay (AL7)
    **********************************************************************************************
The assassin class is much different from the others. Since the assassin is able to kill its enemies really quickly, Gamevil made it so they also die very easily. How do you avoid dying? Put your points into agility (AGI) and your Evade percentage will increase. Another way to avoid dying is to think before you act. Don't run into the middle of a room not knowing what's going to happen. The assassin is a strategic class; you must pull two to three monsters from the group and swiftly take them out and continue on. The assassin also has a different style in leveling. The assassin, unlike the other classes, cannot take many enemies on at once, which limits their grinding capabilities. So to shorten up what I've said: assassins cannot handle more than three enemies at once, assassins are speed enhanced, invest in AGI and that assassins are a fun and easy first class.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Strengths (TR3)
    **********************************************************************************************
    The assassin has many "strengths".

    - The assassin can move extremely fast in both its attacks and running. This allows the assassin to quickly go through dungeons without many stops and without being hit often.
    - At Level 24, the assassin receives a spell that allows it to turn invisible, named Invisibility. This spell makes it so no monsters are able to see the assassin.
    - It has a high evade (EVD) percentage, which makes it very hard for monsters to hit you.
    - It has a high critical hit (CRT) percentage, which makes it so that many of the assassin's attacks deal 200% of its normal damage.
    - It has many skills to help it get out of bad situations. Invisibility helps it run away. Thunder Storm clears most, if not all, of the screen. Burning Spirit increasing CRT and EVD chances.
    - The assassin moves through the game. Its increased speed in attacks and movement allow it to clear place faster, complete quests faster, defeat bosses faster and make money faster.

All of these strengths help the assassin throughout the game.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Weaknesses (TY8)
    **********************************************************************************************
Despite its many strengths, the assassin also has many weaknesses.
    - To buy gear for an assassin you must be rich. Only rely on drops.
    - If out of SP and mobbed by enemies, say goodbye to 3,000 gold or 5% durability and 10% of your experience.
    - Cannot grind on multiple enemies, only able to grind on a few at a time.
    - Doesn't deal as much damage as the Warrior.
    - If you cannot plan things out, you cannot play this strategic class.
    - Durability becomes low often because you when you re hit, you take 1/4-1/8 damage.

These weaknesses are the problems you might have, although it will not make it too much harder.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Stats (IS4)
    **********************************************************************************************
The assassin depends on stats. The stats: STR (Damage), AGI (EVD/CRT), CON (HP) and SPI (SP).
STR: Strength helps increase the damage the assassin deals. STR is mainly the assassin's secondary stat.
AGI: AGI helps criticals and evade chance. AGI is the main stat for assassin.
CON: CON is to increase health. Not important.
SPI: SPI is to increase SP. Not important.

You should invest in mostly AGI/STR. I will list builds for you to pick out of.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Skills (PP2)
    **********************************************************************************************
There are to types of skills: Active and Passive.

Active skills are skills that you can manually use in battle. Assassins do not depend on these skills, but they help in grinding and hard spots.

    - Frenzy Sword: A quick attack. Max 120%. Important.
    - Explosion: A powerful Area of Effect attack. Not important.
    - Ice Spear: A power Area of Effect attack, slows enemy. Semi-Important.
    - Burning Spirit: Increases Accuracy. Not Important.
    - Chain Lightning: A powerful attack shooting lightning to the North, South, East and West enemies. Important as backup.
    - Thunder Storm: A screen-clearing move. Max Max 460% damage. Very Important.
    - Illusion: Increases Evade chance. Not Important.
    - Invisibility: Makes you turn invisible. Very Important.
    - Archangel: Unlocked after you beat Virulent/Charity. Not important.

The most important are Thunder Storm, the strongest AoE attack and Invisibility which makes you invisible to escape.

Passive skills are skills that improve your stats, movement, and other defense/attack based stats. These are very important to the assassin.

    - Grace of the Crow: Increases Evade chance. Important.
    - Will of the unicorn: Increases Evade/Movement. Important.
    - Focus of the Archer: Increases Accuracy. Not Important.
    - Recovery of the Eagle: Increases SP. Semi-Important
    - Tear of Orion: Increases CRT chance. Not Important.
    - Howl of the Lion: CRT damage increase. Important.
    - Agility of the Lynx: ATK increase. Important.
    - Wrath of the Dragon: ATK increase. Important.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Builds (KK2)
    **********************************************************************************************
I am going to give you many ways to distribute your points, both Stat and Skill for different ways to play the game. These have been tested and work in different ways. You may change it during gameplay, these are only suggestions. Each build will be set to Level 50 and tell you how to continue. Put excess points in any fashion you would like. You have 150 or so stat points to spend and 50 skill points to spend, if for some reason you do not, just try to get close.

    Stat/Skill Suggestions
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Out of those six builds, only one may work for you. Maybe you'll like all of them. Maybe you'll find that none of them work for you. I suggest: Build #1, #3, and #5.
I'm going to give you some help on how to make your own builds and what to look for.

Since assassins depend on avoiding hits and dealing fast damage you should always put some points into AGI. STR increases the attack of your character. Active skills take your attack and add more damage to it using a spell. For instance: Thunder Storm, 10/10, does 460% more damage than your normal attack. If you have no STR, then your normal attack may be 1,000 and that does not add up to much, even with the 460% increase. If you have some STR and your attack is 1500, 460% seems like a lot more. SPI is not needed. Even if it does allow you to use more spells with out waiting for your SP to come back as often, it's a waste. You should be spending points in other stats. Now, SP is needed to use your screen-clearing spell often, but that's your choice. CON isn't needed either. Since you have such a high EVD chance, you will not be hit much so you do not need the health. Now, if you do not have enough AGI to give you a high EVD percentage and you have no health, then you will die often. It is smart to invest only a little bit of points in CON.

For your skill points you have to base where you put your points on instinct. Some people like using spells, other just like pushing the O on the bottom right to kill their enemies. Everyone's different. I suggest, for Active, max out Frenzy Sword for a quick knockout spell. Thunder Storm is for clearing the screen. Invisibility, as I've said many times, is a must. Illusion helps you to get out of tight spots, but is not needed if you have invisibility. For Passive I suggest investing in the ATK increasing spells, CRT increasing spells and EVD increasing spells. Leave Focus of the Archer alone because assassins rarely miss, even without it.

Use my tips wisely. A good way to test your own build is to go to a place that has monsters two levels above you and try to kill them. If you kill them under 15 seconds, survive for 15 seconds, or whatever your build is supposed to help you to do then it's good.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Styles (NT9)
    **********************************************************************************************
As I've said before, the assassin cannot run in and win. You must sneak in, pull a few monsters, quickly dispose of them and move on. How do you quest like this? Easy. You know those side-quests that require you to kill the monsters that are way deep in a dungeon or have a million enemies guarding them? All you have to do is turn on invisibility and bam, your at the monster. I'm going to give you a list of ways to quest effectively.

    - Sneak & Peek: This style is simple. Sneak around the area, while invisible, and once you find the monster you're looking for, wait until your invisibility runs out. When it does, the monsters will swarm you and you AoE them to death or kill them one at a time.

    - Disappearance: Only works with an AoE build. Go into the center of a room with levels higher than you. When they swarm you, use an AoE move, or two and use Invisibility. If they aren't all dead yet, when your invisibility runs out you can easily scrape off the remain health.

    - Quester: You do not only grind, but also do many of the off-side quests. Assassins are able to sneak through mobs to get to the quest objective.

    - No Fear: You go into a room and kill everything there. There's no specific way to do it. just go in, run up to a monster, kill it and move on. High Chance of Death.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Grinding (SW7)
    **********************************************************************************************
We come to grinding. Grinding, what Zenonia is full of. Also, this is what assassins are great at. Quick clearing of rooms, quick escapes and fast leveling. I'm going to give you some grinding spots throughout the game, starting at Level 14.

Cave of Deceit: The first dungeon in the game. A very good place for assassins to grin in the beginning of the game. If using a good build, you are able to grind on the monsters three levels above you, such as the swords or bone knights.

In the third town: Go to the bottom exit. There you will find many walking plants and slimes. Grind off of them for fst leveling and very few deaths.

Libra Oasis: Go to the left or bottom exit for quick and easy grinding. Left exit for Levels 30-36 and bottom exit for 36-40. You might have quite a few deaths from the Beholders, but it is worth it.

Libra Oasis: Go to the top right exit. Then in the next area go to the exit on the top right. You should be in an area full of Level 35's and 45's. Kill everything in sight down that path and you will earn money and level.

There aren't any other real specific grinding areas in the game. Just kill monsters in the Seal areas. Grinding is the way to level. The side-quests do not do much for you except give you a little money and/or experience points. Grind two to three levels above your own level.

    +=================================================================+
    +Boss Fights+
    +=================================================================+
I am going to tell you how to defeat each boss on an assassin. Keep in mind that this part of the FAQ may include spoilers and may only work with the assassin class.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Pale (PW3)
    **********************************************************************************************
Pale is the Level 20 shadow boss in the Cave of Deceit. In this boss' room there are three switches: bottom left, top left and top right. What you should do is dash to the bottom left switch and push the rock onto the switch. Keep in mind that it is okay to lose health by walking through the spikes, you will recover with later steps. Then go to the top left switch and push the rock onto it. Now comes the hard part: the last switch. Pay attention. Kill five zombies. Run around the room twice and lose Pale so he is having trouble following you. When he is at the opposite side of the room from the top right switch, go to it. Push the rock onto it. The common problem now is that Level 16 Zombies are blocking the exit. If so, destroy them. Use all of your SP and get out of there or you're dead. Push Pale near a wall, so that when you hit him there will be one space between you and Pale. Grind him down and use some AoE to lower the Zombie's health too.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Vicious/Vague (FK1)
    **********************************************************************************************
You fight Vicious if you're good and Vague if you're evil. Both of these bosses are the same, they hit hard but slowly. How do you win? Simple with an assassin. Since you CRT so often you keep the boss away from you and attack whenever it comes close. Push the boss up to the wall so when you hit it back there are two spaces between you and the boss. Grind down his/her health.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Shadow of Ladon (LP9)
    **********************************************************************************************
Shadow of Ladon is an easy boss if you follow this guide. The assassin can deal quite a bit of damage when it crits. There are two ways to do this.

One: Go to the bottom right. The boss cannot hit you when you're in this area. When he becomes vulnerable go up to him and damage him or use an AoE attack. Thunder Storm can clear him in two hits.

Two: Stay far away and dodge whatever he fires at you. When he is vulnerable dash up to him and hit him or use Thunder Storm to clear him in a few hits.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Lord Virulent/Lady Charity (HY5)
    **********************************************************************************************
You fight Lord Virulent if you are good and Lady Charity if you are evil. These bosses are very simple for an assassin. Why are they so simple? Because you're like a ninja! Whenever you're in trouble just turn invisible. If you need to regain SP or HP just go invisible.

For these bosses, they have a strong close-up and long-range attack. Now, this only work with an assassin. Using your increased running speed go in front of the boss, causing it to attack. Dodge the attack and then while the boss is vulnerable (purple) hit it with everything you've got. This may take up to 6 tries. Always give yourself time between each attempt to regain SP and HP to deal and take damage.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Ladon (GC6)
    **********************************************************************************************
Ladon, the second to last boss. There are rumors that some have cleared both Ladon and Osiris is 15 seconds put together! Many of those rumors are true. How? Simple, AoE. These bosses are very weak compared to the previous bosses. For Ladon, just dodge his attacks and use Thunder Storm. He should be dead in two hits. If unable to use Thunder Storm, go up to him and constantly dash from side to side. If you have any -sp enchants you should be fine. When he is a bout to a take, move backward and then foward to hit him. Another way to do this is when he attack turn invisible and hit him. When you release from invisibility I have noticed you get critical hits often.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Osiris (RD4)
    **********************************************************************************************
The final boss. Your inner demon. Osiris has three parts: its right hand, left hand and head. You cannot damage the actual being of Osiris unless both of its Level 80 hands are destroyed first. Warning: The hands respawn after a certain amount of time. Also, the hands damage you and Osiris' head, when invulnerable, shoots lasers at you when you pass by it. Do it this way: Go to his left hand. Destroy it. Turn invisible. Go to his right hand. Destroy it. Go to the middle, he should be vulnerable, damage him and use AoE. Rinse and Repeat. If you do not have invisibility you can still run through the middle and survive, but you have a chance of taking a high amount of damage.

    +=================================================================+
    +Money+
    +=================================================================+

    **********************************************************************************************
    Costs (UT6)
    **********************************************************************************************
The assassin is a very expensive class. It makes quite a lot of money, but also loses quite a lot of money. The sword drops from monsters sell for up to 10,000 gold, but to buy a sword from a vendor it can cost 60,000+ gold. The assassin also dies often if you are not playing it correctly or if you are not using a stable build. This will cost you 2,000-3,00 gold per death or even cost you some exp. Try to rely on monster drops for gear and do not buy from armor and weapon vendors. Even though assassins cost a lot they are well worth trying.

    **********************************************************************************************
    Money Making (JB5)
    **********************************************************************************************
There are a few good places to make money in this game. I'm going to give you a few. Just some basic information: the money drops do not vary much from Level 50-99. Try to fight the lower levels for quicker money. Also fight the monsters that drop items for you to sell often. Money making is for Levels 60+.
    __________
    Libra Oasis
    -----------------
    1. Go to the top right exit. Then to the top right exit on the side. Kill everything on that path.
    2. Shadow of Ladon Dungeon: The Level 54 orcs on the top levels give quite a lot of money and drops and are easy to kill. Also the Gorgons and knights are easy to kill and give a lot of money also.
    __________________
    Virulent/Charity Cave
    -----------------------------
In the first room, use Thunder Storm to make tons of money.
    _______________
    Ladon/Osiris Cave
    ------------------------
    1. The swords in the second room drop a lot of items for you to sell. Caution: Level 71-72, may include deaths.
    2. In the room before Ladon you can kill the monsters for a combination of exp and money. This is the best place to grind to Level 99.

Try to find your own money-making areas. just remember, the money drop difference does not vary much between Level 50 and 70. Only about 50 gold difference.

    +=================================================================+
    +Terms+ (SF4)
    +=================================================================+
I am going to list some of the terms I sued and what they mean. These may be obvious to some of you, but others may not be passionate gamers.

    - Clear: Defeat
    - STR: Strength stat
    - AGI: Agility stat
    - CON: Health stat
    - SPI: SP Stat
    - Grind: A way of leveling in many rpg based games. It includes killing monsters your level or a little higher.
    - Dash: The double tap action on the D-pad.
    - CRT: Critical hit
    - EVD: Evade
    - ATK: Attack

Again these may be obvious, but some might need some guidance.

You forgot to say what sites can host the guide. Your copyright kinda prohibits GameFAQs from using it... Maybe they won't notice. And what does "frfrffrfr" mean?

I'm not gonna lie, I haven't read through all of it yet

What I have read, though, looks beautiful. Seems like there are a couple places you can improve, but that's why they allow you to update it. I don't know how necessary it would be, but a little section on gear & what enchantments you should be looking for couldn't hurt.

I do like your section on style, too. That's exactly what people are looking for. A lot of 'em would probably be like "Ok, I got the right skills. Now what?"

    *Points to guide* That's what.
